At our last meeting I wore my “Jaywalker Socks“. They are knit from the cuff down. I would rather knit socks from the toe up but started out trying to follow the instructions. They are made with Felici yarn from KnitPicks. Love the feel of this inexpensive sock yarn. The color is “Mixed Berries”. I don’t know why I can’t leave a sock pattern alone but I don’t care to make heel flaps. For this sock I used the “Peasant Heel”. It is made the same as a toe when making a toe-up sock.
I am currently knitting the “Rona Shawl” from KnitPicks using their “Bare” lace weight yarn. The pattern can be downloaded for a $1.29. I’m on round 108 (out of 158). It is knit from the center out and there are now 500 stitches on my needles (though the picture was taken at an earlier stage). This is not a “Knit Night” project as I need to concentrate on this one.
My “Knit Night” project is a pair of footies made with “Tofutsies” yarn. I haven’t taken its photo yet and there is a goodly thunderstorm arriving so will blog about that later.

VERY pretty, Kathy! I can easily see why it isn’t a ‘knit night’ pattern…very detailed but will make a very nice shawl when you’re done. Thanks for sharing.
